PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The DAV-CNX1 provides standalone, browser-based management of Dante systems. Its interface follows familiar Dante Controller workflows for routing, monitoring and network management. Scene presets allow recall of routing configurations, while role-based access supports controlled administration. An HDMI monitor output and USB keyboard/mouse connections provide local operation without a separate PC. This is a control and management appliance, rather than a Dante AV video encoder or decoder.
The unit supports central management from a PC or tablet through a web browser. For a local operator position, connect a touchscreen monitor or an HDMI display with USB keyboard and mouse. Presets allow operators to recall established routing arrangements without manually rebuilding each connection.
Its dedicated control-network interface allows management access to be separated from Dante traffic. GPIO and relay interfaces provide a connection point for external switches, indicators and other equipment. Webhook notifications can support integration with third-party systems.

Separate primary and secondary Dante network ports support redundant Dante networks. A third Ethernet port provides control access. External integration includes Telnet/API, RS-232, GPIO, relay outputs and outbound webhooks. Local HDMI GUI output is fixed at 1920 x 1080.

VIDEO FORMAT INFORMATION
The HDMI connector displays the management interface at a fixed 1920 x 1080 resolution. It is not a decoded Dante AV programme output. Encoder/decoder video-format and HDR specifications do not apply to this control appliance.
POWER AND OPTIONAL ADAPTER
Power options: IEEE 802.3at PoE+ through the primary Dante LAN port, or 12V DC through a screw-type DC connector. PoE+ has priority.
No separate AC-DC adapter is needed when suitable PoE+ power is available.
The AC-DC adapter is optional and sold separately.
